Pro Tools 2023.3 is out

Smooth install but Still thick waveform center line. Can anybody confirm this is also happening to them. Makes it almost impossible to edit dialogue. slight breaths,mouth nosies are buried in the thick line. I really hope this is just on my end for some reason

Everything in that list is what is compatible with the TCE tool. If you have the plugin it won't be greyed out. Simple as that.

And yeah, 2023.3 does not include the Zplane plugin. They implemented the engine/algorithm that powers Zplanes elastique plugins for use in Elastic Audio processes. There was an odd caveat though in the release notes saying something like using it on short clips won't work, and that it needs to be used on the whole song/track. So it's implementation does not look great.

Downloaded it and Air Windows, installed, restarted and loaded a project. Playback was fine, did a little editing and all seemed good. I’ll try more tomorrow.

As we announced for the public beta, users will not be able to run ICON, C24, and Command 8 control surfaces natively on Apple silicon. Although these control surfaces have been out of support for several years now and are no longer tested, they should continue to work as before when running under Rosetta 2.

Smooth update install; WIN11, MTRX/HDX. No issues found.

A couple of thoughts;

The occasional 'PT unexpectedly quit' on quit.
The 'Please increase AAE memory' error (which is nonsensical…) that I sometimes get after having a session open for a long time.
Small annoyances, but two things that I'm hoping to see an improvement on.
We'll see.

And I think maybe folks with underlying issues from before might still have them, and the update won't help, that's how it usually goes.
