Do MC/Artist Control/Mix not support plugin mapping?

So I came across this video on YouTube the other night:

And I got all excited about the prospect of mapping the parameters of different plugins to the encoders I wanted. I have an MC Mix and MC Control and also running Avid Control on an iPad. I'm using Eucon 2023.6.

Despite following along with this video, the parameter maps didn't "take" except in the Avid Control app. The MC Mix wouldn't reflect the map. I didn't check the MC Control's touchscreen, but I imagine results are the same.

Is the plugin mapping feature not supported in the MC/Artist series hardware controllers? Or am I doing something wrong?

(I tested this using DP 11.22 as well as PT Studio 2023.6)

Ahhhh, bummer. That's too bad. Be nice if there a firmware update for the Artist range was possible to make that work, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I think S3 *does* support it? Used S3s are dropping in price. Might be more incentive for me to ditch my MC Control / MC Mix Combo.
