Spinning ball when changing track size!!!!

HI

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if they've found a solution.

Not always, but when I hit 'e' to reduce my track size after doing some close up editing, I get the 'spinning beach ball of doom', it can last from 10 seconds to (well I'm still looking at it spinning now).

Any solutions happily accepted, especially as it's a Saturday!!!!


I'm on 7.3.1
HD3
Mac osx 10.4.8
2.5 G ram


Oh, and whilst I've been typing this, it's finally stopped spinning.......... longest one yet....!

Hi,

Is this happenning in every session or just this one? if its just one session then try opening a new session and using "import session data" top import all the tracks to create a new session incase it was a corrupt session!!

If its on many sessions then try trashing the database files on all hard drive's and the database folder in app support/digidesign

Also try the trashing the prefs as described in the troubleshooting tips...

It's happening on every session. I wondered weather it was a common fault.

I was just waiting until I loaded up the next session before I trashed prefs, having just seen JC's app, I may use that and see how it goes.
