Default wrong sample rate

Anyone know a quick fix for a session that plays audio files back too slow? I know for a fact that I recorded the audio at 24 48000, but the session properties were set to 16 44100. I saved a copy of the session with the right session properties, hoping that it would play them at the right sample rate, but it didn't work.

In the original session, as long as I have the clock set to adat, the session plays at the right speed, but won't bounce down at the right speed. When I set the clock to internal, it plays back slow, like when it bounces to disk.

In the copied session, no matter what I set the clock to, the audio is played back slower than it should be.

Any workarounds?

In the Pro Tools Workspace window (Windows>Show Workspace) locate the audio files used in the session then, in the Sample Rate column, change the sample rate to 48000. Close the session, create a new one at the correct, 48k, sample rate and from the File menu choose 'Import Session Data' and point it to the defective session. Import all the tracks and deselect the option to convert sample rate.

If you have a bunch of files to change.. use my free Header Investigator utility.

It looked like the audio files were missing. Actually, If you let it sit there long enough, they load up. My mistake. Buuuuuuuuut. It still plays them back to slow, and now it doesn't matter what clock I use.
