Default session template

Every time I create a session from a template in PT 5.0, the session seems to get corrupted. In the latest instance, the session appeared to be fine until I tried to create a marker memory location -- and Pro Tools suddenly quit. I tried it with a new template, and the same thing happened. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks!
