I will watch the videos. and try all suggestions when I get home tonight and then report back. You guys are nice people for helping. I ahve to say, the instructions that came with it was good for setting up and installing drivers and software, but as far as playing music with the keyboard in the essentials software, not very user friendly for the average non professional user.

Just watched the first video on getting started.

02:34 mins into the video, he says "play some keys and you will hear a piano and see the meters respond.

This is my problem, I am not hearing anything when pressing the keys on the keystudio 49 keyboard.

Are you seeing any indication of a signal in the tracks meter? If you can see it but not hear it try record enabling the track.

No, I am not seeing any indication of audio in the meter. I did notice the M-Audio Fast Track is "not connected" is this normal? The M-Audio Micro panel is streaming at 44.1khz.

Ok, I got it working by unplugging the usb and replugging into a different slot. The drivers reinstalled when doing this and then...SOUND.

On a side note, I had the piano ON before starting the program. Not sure if I did this before, I may have turned on after program opened, not sure if that made any difference, but all is good now.
