firewire CDR support needed NOW!
Now that many of us have these newer faster machines, that have no built-in scsi, we need Digidesign to be supporting AT LEAST ONE of the new firewire CDR drives. Agreed?

I agree. What's up digi? Anything in the works. The Que 8x4x32 is getting great reviews.

Hey guys
Firewire CDR's are not going to be supported by MLCD any time soon. Maybe in the future. MLCD requires that code by written for each CDR used. Firewire will require a re-work of the entire code. At this time there is no plans for this re-work. You should be able to use toast and a new firewire drive for backup and limited CD-DA creation( check with adaptec ) Mj |
