Default CD and song tags?

how can I get cd and song info on my cds? whenever I put the cd into itunes or something it comes up as unknown artist and track 1 and so on. All of the songs are named correctly when i burn them down. thanks

This is done by the mastering house or by using an application that can insert CD Text info.

Also, you can upload the information to the CDDB (database) for your CD, but the CD itself has to have been mastered with specific identifying information for it to work properly.
