Using Ultra 160 SCSI with 9600
Does anyone know of any problems using the Seagate Cheetah Ultra 160 SCSI drives with the 9600 for a PT Mix+ system? Also, can anyone suggest an ATTO card that will work with 2 of these 18 gig drives? The part number of the drive is ST318404LW.
Thanks! |

Re: Using Ultra 160 SCSI with 9600
Bradley,
I just got an ATTO PCIUltra3 dual-channel for use with my older Ultra2 drives and it works well, although I had to update the firmware for the drives. (Seagate v1.5 is the newest) I'm sure this card will work with the newer drives as well. The card was about $485 (check out storagenow.com) good luck!
