Meters are lit, but no output...

I'm using a PT 5.1.3 mix cubed system with a quicksilver G4. After closing a session and opening a new one, no audio is being spit out of the 888 24. (However, the meters show that there is output) Quitting ProTools didn't solve the problem, although the first time it occured, relaunching the playback engine, got the audio to spit out. Now, I am unable to jump between sessions without first trashing the DAE, Digi, PT prefs and restarting. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same thing happen to me recently. I trashed the prefs and resarted the computer. It didn't help. So then I trashed the prefs again and shut down the computer as well as my 888/24. That did the trick. I haven't had the problem since.

check input settings. if you have set your sync set to digital you need a clock source. try internal or just switch to analog input
