Clip FX GUI not responding

Good Morning Tope,

I did a test in 2023.6 this morning and did experience the GUI freeze (albeit not right away this time).
But returned to normal after resizing the window.
The the processor order didn't change like in 2022.12 and I don't see the little blue up/down arrow anymore.

I had changed the processor order a little earlier in the 2022.12 session but didn't save it that way.
The change to the processor order recurred after restarting the session a few times. Only when the bug happened.

Minimizing & maximizing the edit window worked in both versions to refresh & unfreeze the GUI.

I had this and support suggested detaching all except one screen, running Protools, then close it and reconnect the other screens. Fixed my issue. If you are running multiple screens might be worth a try

Unfortunately it happens with my one monitor setup.
I appreciate you sharing that though.

Since you guys found a fix by refreshing your multi-monitor setup I tried uninstalling & re-installing my graphics driver.
Even tried different refresh rates. No dice.

PT 2022.7 works fine.

I would be interested to know if the reverse is true - if you plugged in a 2nd monitor, ran PT, closed, back to one monitor - if that was a similar inexplicable fix.

I'd be interested to know too. Would be cool if I had a 2nd monitor to test.
I can recreate it every time: Select a clip, open the FX tab and click anywhere in the GUI.

Only clue I can give is that it works in 2022.7.
And I know you guys have newer graphics cards and still experienced it.

I'm hoping it will still get fixed even though I'm the only one without a solution.
Maybe the option to hide the Clip FX tab will be added in a new release so I'm not reminded a bug is there every time I open PT.

On the bright side, the workaround of minimizing the screen before I engage clip FX is quite feasible. In fact, when I minimize the screen, Clip FX ends up right in the middle of the screen which is a nice place to view and adjust the settings.
I created a Windows config just for the occasion.

Well, not good to hear but at least I know I'm not alone.
Let's definitely let support know that any fix is only temporary.

I rolled back to a 2022.7 so I'm not able to provide the video support requested for them to get this logged.
But I did I email these simple steps:

Select a clip

Open Clip FX

Click on GUI - Unable to select or enable any parameter visually (although the compare button lights indicating changes have been made)

Resize window to see changes (Clip FX then works normally until next session)

Re-installing 2023.6 to capture a video isn't really convenient at this time. My fault for not making a video while I had it installed.

Can any of you guys send support a video so we can get it verified & logged? That would be much appreciated.

Hi Guy... I created a new case and referred back to the one you worked on with Bret. I asked that he take the new case and try to isolate it this time. I know that Camille was working with Mike but he downgraded as he had to work so he cant go forward to 2023.3 or 2023.6 to try it again. Im hoping you can stick with it until we figure it out.
