Strage Beat Detective Conform Strength Behavior
Happy Monday everyone!
I've been seeing some strange behavior while editing a drum track today. And I actually saw it a we or so ago as well on another session. But today I was able to repeat it several times so I thought I'd post as see if anyone else can verify. Cut some drums today. There's a drum loop in one section, so I decided to use beat detective to iron out any flams between the drums and the loop. When it became time to Conform the selected drum regions, I checked the box for Strength and entered 50%. But when I hit conform, the actually quantized it to more like 90% or 95%. So I hit "undo" and entered 25% to see what it would happen. It still quantized to 90% or 95%. So I closed and reopen the session and tried again. This time it would conform at 25%. So I hit undo and changed it to 50% and it still would only conform at 25%. To get the session to conform at 50%, I had to enter 50% for the conform value, then close and reopen the session. Thoughts? Anyone? sleiweke PT 10HD 10.0.1 / Mac Pro 2x2.66GHz Xeon 12 gig RAM / OS 10.7.2 / HD3 Accel
