Default Quick question about deleting unused audio...

When clearing out 'unused regions' and you have the choice to Remove or Delete audio, what is the shortcut used when you want to Delete ALL unused regions at once? (instead of one at a time).

thanks, Roy

From the regions list popup menu, choose select, then unused regions, then back from the regions pop-up, select clear selected.

(I think... I'm at work and not in front of my rig.)

If you hit remove, it shouldn't ask you again. If you hit delete, it'll ask you with every file (except regions that aren't also files, just region defs) as a safety feature to keep you from deleting accidentally. While it may take longer than hitting delete several times, hitting remove, then saving the session, then performing a "save session copy in" requires no babysitting of the computer.

Select all Unused Regions and then ALT-CLICK the delete button ( in the Clear Audio box in the regions list) - this will remove them all without asking each time.

Cool cliff! If there's one thing I've learned in my 6 years of using PT, it's that there's always something more to be learned that may make you more efficient at using it. It's fun to work with other engineers at times and see how everyone has their own 'style' when it comes to using and navigating through PT...grabbing little bits that make me more efficient along the way.

Roy,

If i am corerct clicking the delete button (not the key on your keyboard, but in the delete/remove from session thingy) or the remove, and you hold that alt-key with it, its only asking you once...
