Default Where Would You put your $$$$$

Hi all, preparing to set up a b room considering either:

option 1:

Focusrite front end
Apogge Rosetta 800 (A/D) Lightpipe out to
002 (lightpipe in and out)
Command 8 surface control
ApoggeeRosetta 800 (Lightpipe)
Summing Mixer (Dangerous 2 bus)
Masterlink

or

option 2:
A HD rig.

thanks in advance for thoughts, comments, considerations.

You'd have to tell us what the room would be used for.. and how much you'd be charging for the room.

TDM - I bought an 002 after many years of TDM and it doesn't cut it. period.

Also, through lightpipe, you'd be limited to sample rates up to 48k. kind of dead-ended!

If the darn thing would at-least do 4 tracks of 96k through the light-pipe ports (like every other product on the market), then maybe, but of course Digi ALWAYS throws a wrench in the works. Also, as a core audio interface for any other program...
it sucks! P.O.S.

TDM!!!
