M-Audio Hammer88 Pro Not Connecting
Hi, I've previously connected my Hammer88 Pro to Reaper, Abelton and Studio One using the M-Audio instructions. Unfortunately the options indicated in their instructions do not populate in Set Up/MIDI/Midi Input Devices. There are always two and I suspecte the top one is correct and one of the bottom 3 is the other. I've tried every permutation, but nothing. Wondering if anyone has had this issue? Thank you.

Re: M-Audio Hammer88 Pro Not Connecting
That's not where midi controllers get configured on a Windows setup. In Pro Tools, go to Setup>Midi>Midi Studio. Create a new "instrument". Name it as you like. Brand and model are not required for proper function. The thing that IS required is the Input Path and(assuming you installed the driver for the keyboard), the correct path is probably obvious on the Input Path drop-down list. Once that is configured, create a stereo instrument track, insert the plugin of your choice(always in the top slot) and hit the Record button on the track. Now, playing the keyboard should give you the sound of the inserted plugin instrument
