weird font

I am running a P3, 256 RAM with a SB live platinum.
I installed PT but it is hard to read the fonts in most of the buttons. I already read one post regarding the same problem, but after try the fix deleting the ttfcahe file i did not get any change.
What should i try instead to run PT sharply?
