Audio Interfaces
Here's a question for u all..between Digi 002, 003 and MBox2 pro and regular MBox2 and M-Audio interfaces....whihc ones has the better pre-amps and give a better vocal performance using it?...is there really a differnce between the low end mbox's and the 002-3 series?....How do they compare to the M-audio interfaces...profire 310...profile2060?

Re: Audio Interfaces
IMHO unless you're looking at something like the Apogee Ensemble, it is a big mistake to decide which audio interface based on the pres. Oh I know what you mean, I get where you're going---I'm just saying As to those interfaces, well the 003 is their best converter and pre in the LE line---however the M-Audio hardware is actually very good! IMHO you should have at least one great micpre channel, but if you do need 8-pres.....there is that cost v/s need thing. And yes, there really is a difference between the MBOX and 003.
