Merge pasting
I want to merge paste two drum samples into the same space in the same track, but whenever I go to do it, the "merge paste" is always grayed out in the edit menu. What gives? PTF limitation?
TIA, Zev |

Re: Merge pasting
Merge Paste is for MIDI.
Use Bounce to Disk instead (muting other tracks, of course), with "reimport into session after bounce checked". Select one of the original Regions in the track, then hold down Control key as you drag the bounced/combined Region onto that track (which will force its beginning to that of the current track selection). |

Re: Merge pasting
Thanks! I'll try that next time.
I wish merge paste worked with audio, though. Oh well. Zev |
