PACE and Avid need to fix this Ilok Issue ASAP

Have seen this here too. Only a few times. I believe it is my VPN service, to slow/interrupted. Not sure though.

YES PLEASE. Avid, please allow computer authorization of PT itself, as you already do for the plugins, and as many other manufacturers do. iLok Cloud is unreliable, and a physical dongle is not always practical (e.g. while traveling with a laptop with limited ports).

Back in the day, Pro Tools just had a code to authorize. But it only worked with Digidesign/Avid hardware, oh yeah.....and it was free.

I can't see it happening because apparently machine authorization is much less secure re piracy,
