Default Standard freelance rate for feature film

What are people finding is the weekly standard rate for a freelance sound editor on a reasonable budget feature film?

How long is a piece if string?

What's a reasonable budget?
Depends on the audio post budget, And what they can afford.
Depends. Union, non-union.
Depends on where you are, and how much experience and credits you have.

I work mostly in television, and about only once a year in film. But this is an excellent starting point:

Everyone on this list should read this. If you're independent, ask yourself if you're charging enough to buy the benefits that union membership provides.

If you're already charging more than these rates suggest, cheers to an excellent future for all of us.

Do these rates include equipment? That's something to think about as well.

Why did I look at this? Ughhh...

I'm curious. What's the average rent for a 2 bedroom apartment in the NYC area? Cost of living must be a major factor when looking at these rates.

This is why I moved to LA 5 years ago.
Got fed up with getting underpaid for my talents in Vancouver.

What do you consider a "reasonable budget" for a feature film?
