Got all sorts of issues with audio using a Native card and Omni - tested it with my internal Mac card and that works fine.

It keeps losing audio and not even buffer settings can get them back - all sorts of pops and bangs so rolling back to 10.0

I too have experienced loss of audio running Omni and the Native card. I did the native flash card update as i was instructed. I finally shut down my computer and restarted it again and so far it seems good. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Have you tried the latest drivers for the MTPAV? MOTU updated them a couple of months back. Might be worth a shot.

I have all the latest drivers from MOTU the issue exits elsewhere. Not a big deal though. That’s why I have multiple interfaces. Everything has it's strengths and weaknesses.

Well, here's what Avid says about the download I pointed to.

"NativeCardFlasher works in the following configurations:
  • Mac OS 10.6.8, 10.7.x and Thunderbolt MacBook Pro if Pro Tools HD 9.0.4 or higher is installed
  • Mac OS 10.6.7 or lower if Pro Tools HD 9.0.3 or lower is installed
  • Any Windows 7 computer"

This new plugin is in 10.1, so though it's limited to HDX users, I'm sure we'll see it on the next release. My guess is 10.2 will be the "rejoined" version, since right now its 10.1 for HDX and 10.0.1 for everyone else.

But don't hold me to that.
