Default Pro Tools upgrade and earlier versions

Hello. I'm planning to upgrade to PT 2021, permanent license. The question is: will I be able to use earlier version of Pro Tools with this upgrade? I'm using PT 2028.12, and with my actual gear I can go up to PT 2020 (High Sierra). However, I think I will go for another computer soon, so I can use last version. But in the meantime I need to remain in PT2020 (Or even 2018.12). Is this posible if I buy the upgrade now?

I have copies of some older installers (OSX) if you need one, and with my latest licence all the older versions of PT (I have 2 or 3 versions installed) do run.

(A) High Sierra runs 2021.10 just fine (see my signature.) It's not "officially" supported but only because Avid only tests on so many platforms at once and when a new one is added (Big Sur) an old one is dropped off (High Sierra.) There is no technical problem. (Frankly, I've only seen one plugin manufacturer so far have problems running on High Sierra with their latest versions: Waves v13 which won't run. You have to use Waves v12)

(B) You can run older versions of Pro Tools if you upgrade a perpetual license. You never lose the ability to run a version you used to be able to run (due to licensing.)
This is different from if you buy a new license. There are some limitations with a new license on running an older version.

Aviid Download Center has all the versions since 12.6 and you can open any of them with perpetual license. For earlier versions your license (bundle) must say PT12/11/10/9 and you need to request installers from Avid Support.

Thank you very much! I'll try 2021.10 then. I am using high sierra because is the last OS that supports digi 003.
