Assistance with getting volume swells set up?

So I run an Eleven Rack with one of those Eureka Prom modified FCB1010 midi floor controls, and I have everything I want from the Eleven Rack except for volume swells. The volume pedal on the MIDI control seems to be tied to overall rig volume, so delays and reverbs do not continue to trail when I rock the volume pedal back to 0 value.

How have you guys gone about getting volume swells set up? Does it involve changing the positioning of the volume pedal within the signal chain? Right now the volume pedal is positioned at the beginning of the signal chain. I emailed a guy at Eurekaprom and he suggested looking into the Multifx pedal section within the settings menu, so I'll try that first. Any insight is appreciated!

(And please dont suggest I use my volume knob, I much prefer to use a pedal.)

Have you enabled midi control in the User Options?
