Avid's X-Form rtas for sale, $125,- (price drop from 150) including ilok tranfser fee...

whats the difference between Xform and Audiosuite time shift and pitch shift?

X-form uses another algorithm based on izotope radius...

i had already read that. But it doesnt tell me anything real world. Is Xform better than Time and Pitch audiosuite? less artifacts? more natural sound? no difference? basically the same?

I use Timeshift all the time and pitchshift some. Would Xform be an upgrade with better results? or just different software that does the same thing?

Did you use Xform vs Timeshift and pitchshift? what were your results/preferences?

I think xform does the job far more better than pitch&time. I'm still using it for 25->24fps conversions and dialogue/ADR, edits.

Only thing is, it's renders very slowwwwwww. But with excellent results. You can google for comparisons for example over here... or demo it
