Mbox Pro 3 problems 1.3.1 update
Hey guys. I made a costly error, and I need you guys help. I have an Mbox Pro 3 setup, PT 10.3.8, running on an 8-core Nephlam Mac with O/S 10.6.8. I made the mistake of running the new 1.3.1 update for my Mbox Pro 3 and now my cpu & Protools can't connect to the unit. I've uninstalled 1.3.1, reinstalled 1.2.2 and still nothing helps..Any input would help...Thanks!!

Can u upgrade to Mavericks and PT11? That upgrade is specifically for that.

I feel ya. I know that update was specific to Mavs and I know several of the moderators here will have better answers for you. You might want to put a call into Avid.

Do you have another system you can test it on? Did you hotplug the Mbox during the driver install? You're best bet is to contact Avid, you should have received a free ASC when you registered the Mbox.

So cutting the cpu off completely and restarting did the trick...smh
