Installing PT10 & Upgrading to Lion Quirks???

I read that with PT 9.0.5, to install it on Lion, Avid recommended the lame process of installing Lion on a separate partition, rather than updating Lion the "normal" way.

Does this remain true for PT 10?

Because it would make life a hell of a lot easier if we can update from 10.6.8 to Lion 10.7.2 like a normal user. And then upgrade PT 9.0.X to PT 10.

being that 9.0.5 is a BETA for Lion, I think AVID was suggesting that to be able to revert and work..

I've been working with 10 on Lion 7.1 & 7.2 for a while now and I dont have ANY problems ---

Lion 7.2 & PT 10 = Dream Combo


Whatever you decide on... Back up your boot drive with Carbon Copy Cloner... Then do a clean install of Lion (Always better to clean install) then use migration manager in OS X to get your settings back.. Then install PT10...

If you have problems - just revert to your old system


Dont think you will have problems though
