Pro Tools saying cant open as no internet?

I use Pro Tools Studio often,
But today I get this message saying Theres No Internet connection so cannont connect to the software,
I have been using Pro Tools for months not connected to the ineternet!

Any advice?

Are you using “cloud based” I lok or a dongle?
Or did your subscription expire, and it’s looking for an authorization wherever it can find it?

Thank you, I use an actual Dongle, I am on a perpertual licence.

And do you have iLok ZDT? That needs to be online periodically (monthly or so) to refresh the license on the iLok.

And just make sure the iLok licenses you think you are using are there in ILM and log out of any cloud license sessions showing up in ILM. Look carefully through ILM for potential issues.

This happened to me some months back. All of sudden when I launched PT it somehow decided I was on cloud iLok (which I have never been and don't believe I ever selected ) In any case I had to go into iLok license manager and change it back to the dongle

I checked your license status and your Pro Tools Perpetual Bundle is currently activated on iLok cloud. Kindly transfer your Pro Tools license onto your iLok key using iLok license manager. First close the iLok cloud session then activate your license into your iLok key.

Hi Kerochan - Not really sure, but the changes can only be done from iLok license manager if the license was originally activated on an iLok key.

I'm glad to know that you're all set. Moving forward, you may now use Pro Tools even offline.
