Default What the heck did I do this time?

Hello! Does anyone know what I did wrong?

I was in the process of adding some fades, when suddenly selecting regions no longer worked at all. It now will only select the min-secs bar...?

I am certain that I must have accidentally pressed something. But what did I press? And how does one un-press?

Here is a video to show you what I have wrought:

Update: I fixed it by shutting down ProTools and reopening it, but I am curious what the heck that was all about.

Whenever I hit a "huh?" type snag:

Quit Pro Tools & re-launch.
If not fixed, then reboot computer.
If not fixed, trash prefs.
If not fixed, restore a known-working boot-drive image (a 15 minute fix).
If not fixed, it's probably a corrupt session. Make a new session, import session data piece by piece, until the problem is identified.
