Agreed, a few MIDI tweaks to bring it up to speed a little (vs. DP8, Logic Pro X, Cubase 7). While we're at it re. overdue MIDI drum editor: dd drum score mapping features. This drives me nuts in Tools - other apps provide user-definable multi-voice score for kits. So easy to work with on screen - rudiments & patterns in score, against drum or key editors.

Yep, surprise surprise, there are people who like the pro tools gui and workflow for audio, and who also use midi.

Regarding the comment that now the 64bit rewrite that is PT11 is out of the way Avid may look to feature enhancement elsewhere, eg MIDI, I'd love that to happen.

I'm not holding my breath though, until there is any evidence to support the conjecture. It will alway remain a biggy on my wish list, but I suspect it's not a high priority for Avid.
