Pro Tools Intro 2023.12.1 / macOS Ventura 13.6.4

Intro not opening at all ;

Getting Input is disabled on launch and when I click on OK the program closes .
No sign of Pro Tools requiring access to Microphone in Sys Prefs .

Audio HW is a UAD VOLT176 .
Tried trashing PT prefs and holding N when splash screen shows .

Nothing works .


I've tried adding another user / admin account, no differ .
Tried removing all AAX - plugins from the Avid / Audio / Plugins - folder .

Nothing helps, nothing .

Pretty sure you have to “allow microphone access” in system settings whether or not it really needs it.

I did go to Sys Settings / Privacy and Security / Allow apps to access the microphone ...

NO Pro Tools in that list .

Actually I did not even have Cockos REAPER on that list, but I found a workaround on the Cockos forum, to launch REAPER from the terminal .

I have yet to test if audio input works in REAPER .

Output is working ... I can hear the metronome .

My audio-interface is a UAD VOLT176 .

So Pro Tools definitely shows in my Systems Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone

Humm so do you have your UAD selected in both --Mac Systems Setting > Sound ---and in Audio Midi Set Up app ?
