Default Specific question: Any 100% happy PT11HDX post users out there?

Any 100% happy PT11HDX serious post users out there?
Like with zero or close to zero issues, running large post sessions with video and using the offline bounce with trouble free native/aax DSP plugin replacement with little or no issues?

Please don't post bashing here, just success in this thread please...

I use 11 on HDX daily with a black magic card sand hadn't had any show stoppers yet. The video engine still reacts odd when spotting SFX and sliding things around but it reminds me of working with a media composer video satellite so I can live with that for now. Also sometimes the play head doesn't follow as fast id like. I usually click where I need to go and hit play very quickly and 11 sometimes doesn't move the play head and starts playing from the original position, I have only noticed this with video in a session so I assume it's tied to that as well.

The processing power and stability with large sessions has been worth the trouble so far.

I actually just did a 2 week marathon job with two 11 HDX rigs with media composer video satellite running off an Isis and it was all rock solid during 12 to 16 hour mix days the whole time.

It's the best it's ever been. But no, not ZERO issues.

Thanx,
And since this is the post & surround section, I assume this is with video on the same computer?

I asked a similar question a while ago, since I wanted to migrate from a multi PT10 satellite system to a single PT11 HDX2 system. I'm now mixing a feature film on a HDX2 system running video on the same system and I have to say it is a very powerful combination.
100% happy would be an exaggeration but PT11 with HDX2 is miles ahead of the TDM PT10 HD systems.
I'm not running any VI's so can't comment on that.

Love 11 and HDX here. Quieter fans in Avid products - Omni/HDX would be nice but on the whole we're light years on from when I first started on Pro Tools.

Hi Pete, yes working great here. Thanks again for taking the time checking one of my templates on HDX!
With the HDX2 system running behind it, the D-Control/PT combination really feels like a powerful console having the dsp to run all the busses/routing/stems/auxes, One doesn't have to think hard about where to allocate dsp and what tracks/sends to keep (in)active as in the TDM days.
It's not perfect yet, but it's much closer to my "dream" system than any Satellite/TDM/Native PT10 combination I've used.
I still have a PT10 HD3 TDM parked alongside the PT11 HDX2 just in case, and to open up older stuff and plugins, but it hasn't been running lately

Greetings,

Thierry
