Default PT8 Zip/Downloader issue

when i go to download the Windows upgrade with the Pro_Tools_LE_v8_56243 zip file then extract it. it says there are no files to extract. Also it just says it has an error wen i use the downloader. then i tested out downloading some other stuff like loops and samples, they all worked perfectly fine on the downloader and straight zip files that i was able to extract.

anyone else have this problem with the downloader error or 0 files to be extracted?

No, mine went off without a hiccup. What's the size of the zip file? How fast a 'net connection did you have when you downloaded it? (Mine took 5 hours over a dsl...)

thats the problem the size of the zip file is 0 bytes. and i'm assuming that is why there is an error when i try it through the downloader.

The zip file should be around 3.5 GIGS. Maybe something glitched when you were downloading???? Try downloading again.

Some 'net connection protocol "times out" if you spend too much time on a download,
especially one that takes 5 hours! Glad you got it worked out. Enjoy PT8!!!
