Default Protools LE 8 with Windows 7
I bougth a new computer with Windows 7 and I can't install protools LE 8.
Why? Is a problem of compatibility? Someone can tell me what's wrong?

8.0.5 is the ticket. The installation needs to be done correctly and you should probably uninstall PT and reboot for a fresh start. Run the installer that you have and DO NOT connect the interface when asked. Just click okay and let it finish and reboot. Then run the 8.0.5 updater and DO connect the interface when asked. Finish, reboot and try to open Pro Tools. Have your authorization code ready(the one that starts with "DIGI08......").

Yeah 8.0.0 is not compatible with win7..... but the 8.0.5 version the gentlemen referred you to above is.......
