About PT8 amnesty upgrade

Hey there,

I have registered my 7.4 software. I'm having trouble finding the next step. I received an email confirming the software registration, but it contained no information on how to obtain the amnesty upgrade. Do I sit and wait for another email from Digi?

I guess I just need someone to reassure me that everything is going to be ok.

If you registered it properly online then yes you'll get another email in a bit with the upgrade amnesty details.
Might be in an hour or two, might be in a day or two...

I'm wondering if I need to do anything else apart from register the software. It's been four days since I registered the software and no email with a PT8 auth. code. Is this time frame normal?

I would say no. this is not normal.

You may have missed a click when registering it. Go and check your mydigi account to see.

I also get this problem! I have registered Pro Tools 7.4 and also got the License in my iLok account ,But I still not get any mail about upgrade Pro Tools 8...already 5 days,...anyone also gets this problem???

I got my email straight away which is why I thought some mouse click may have been missed when completing the original form.

Get in touch wwith digi, i'm sure they will help.

I have mail to Digi twice ,But No SXXT I got now..

I too, haven't received my upgrade email. Its been 6 days for me. I tried the Web form on Digidesign's support site, and haven't gotten any reply. I also tried calling Customer Service. After being on hold for 65 minutes, I finally gave up.

I looked up your reg and it shows a purchase date of Jan 13, 2008, which would make it ineligible for a free upgrade.

I tried looking up your info, but it's not registered with the same email address you use here on the DUC. If you can give me your registered email, I can see what's happening with it.
