Default PT 8 LE Upgrade, am I entitled?
I received an email today saying

Thank you for registering your Digidesign PT LE 7.4 Digistore Upgrade (NC), purchased on Jan 09, 2009.

Will I get the Free Pro tools 8 upgrade email shortly? How long is the wait

I still haven't received my upgrade email after 5-6 days.

Is this normal?

I didn't receive mine for over a month. But, it came. Granted, I registered before 8 was even out. You'll enjoy 7.4 until then, it's still a good one.

You should typically get it within 24 hours.

If you check that up for me that would be great. I posted my Confirmation number above.

Just wanted to mention i noticed on the Digidesign website saying that you can expect up to 2 weeks to receive the email.

It's been a few days for me as well and I still haven't received my email. I guess it takes a week?

Digidesign,

How long to wait for upgrade email???? I called Customer Service today and waited on hold for 65 minutes before finally giving up.

I also have a ticket open since Friday and haven't gotten a reply to it either.

Would like help with this issue.

I don't show that you're eligible. The product you registered was purchased on Jul 12, 2008, well before the eligibility cutoff date. Since you just registered, you would have received the 7.4 free update you were eligible for.
