Not remotely - I suggest you take a look at the Reaper's About page (http://reaper.fm/about.php) to get an idea, or better yet, download a demo and get inspired by the manual, or something like the fantastic Kenny Gioia's YouTube channel with tutorials for Reaper.


I'd just suggest not approaching it as a Pro Tools replacement in order to get the most out of it.

Off the top of my head: sub-projects, multiple projects open at once, a better media explorer, support for VST (seems to be a plugin for many specialized uses), spectral editing, item based FX, and better MIDI implementation. Also faster, cheaper, far more efficient, terrific community, portable installs, and constant upgrades.
