Wont Stay In Record
I have Pro Tools LE 6.4 with a Digi 001. Pro Tools wont stay in record more than a few seconds , even with one audio track!. The Drive I'm working on is a 70 gig with 27G available and has been freshly de-fragged. I've visited the DUC and followed the advice of a few and checked my workspace window and made sure that under the current drive there was an "R" present. I have also transferred the session to a 250 G Firewire drive with 100G free and the same thing happens. I've used this system for years with no Problems. This started happening after I finished a big video project using Final Cut Pro. I don't know if it's related, but I thought I would mention it. Thanks to anyone who has anything to offer.

Re: Wont Stay In Record
Well, I would start with have you followed the general troubleshooting sticky?
Trashing Prefs and Digidesign Databases is recommended. Reinstalling Pro Tools 6.4 if still not working. And posting system specs, OS and details would help us help you. |

Re: Wont Stay In Record
Thanks for your Reply, I have a Mac G4 1 Gig, The OS is 10.3.9 with 1 Gig of Ram.
I did trash the prefs, but not the Databases. I'll try that this evening. Thanks again |
