RTAS Bypass During Recording

This can't be right...RTAS plugs enter bypass when the track on which the plug sits enters is record enabled. I swear this just started happening; I can't believe I've not used RTAS during recording in the past. Am I forgetting, or have I made some other error?

Normal. There's lots and lots of post on this from the past. Insert trim or a TDM plug-in first and RTAS will be activated during record.

I'm sure someone can explain the reasons for this or a search would pull it up, something to do with the architecture of how the mix buss works in TDM.

you can also just put the rtas on a Aux input track and buss it to the record track
Expect delays when RTAS is being used while monitoring a input

i m on PT6.4.1 TDM on a PC ans was having thw same problem, but PT wont lwt me put an rtas plugin after a TDMm it that a shortfall of 6.4 ?
