Mbox 3 pro word clock

Whats up all... Im running an Mbox 3 pro and just picked up an Apogee Symphony I/O which I no is over kill for the mbox, but it is just until I get my HD PCIE cards... Now the issuse Im having is I have the Apogee in stand alone mode and set as the master and trying to clock my Mbox pro to it... I don't have a problem with the Apogee cause it's clocking just fine to my Lexicon PCM 96... When I go into the Hardware setting's to change the clock source from Internal to External no external option is displayed... Any Ideas???

If I remember correctly, the Mbox Pro will automatically be clocked externally by whatever is hooked up to the spidf. There was some discussion about this limitation. It works in your favor because the Symphony's clock is superior. But it can be an issue if something with an inferior clock is hooked up (like an old digital effects unit, etc.).

Thats how I have it hooked up but the external sync light on the front wont come on I also hooked it up with BNC connectors no luck as well with that... I've never ran into this problem before with my other HD rigs or 001, 002 systems... Its just a little odd to me that it wont sync right... The converters on the Apogee are great but I also want the clock....
