Default Instrument and Click Track Question

I create an instrument track and a click track then record some simple notes through my keyboard. I quantize the notes to fit exactly with the metronome. After, I turn up the metronome from 120 bpm to 132 bpm. For some reason, the notes sync up with the metronome but not the track, so I go into the MIDI editor and move all of the notes to match up with the start of the track. But now that it matches with the track, it no longer is in sync with the metronome.

This problem is also even worse whenever I turn up the click by small increments. If I turn it up by 1 or 2 clicks it gets even worse to sync up and even worse to line up with the track. It is like the notes can’t line up with the track and the metronome at once and is something that has been bugging me since I’ve started a new beat. If this is something that you guys can fix that would be great. Thanks!

Check that the main ruler and counter are set to Bars|Beats and see if the grid lines up then.

Instrument tracks should have tick mode enabled by default so that clips follow tempo changes with the grid but double check to make sure the track didn't get switched to sample mode.
