C24 5.1 - where to put 2x20\' VGA?
Hi,
I''m a newby C24 owner and am trying to find a solution how best/most flexibly place my 2 20' VGA monitors - either way I try, they either are in the way of the center, left or right or out of sight. And more - I need my monitors quite close to each other for prep and editing, but I could get by using a wider angle for mixing (i.e. one for the edit windown and one for Plugins/pans). |

For two large monitors the best setup seems to be both off to one side at 90º. Almost like a separate sidecar. The only real option for front viewing is a pair of swingarms. However, I think they only work with LCDs.

Re: C24 5.1 - where to put 2x20\' VGA?
We currently have our 2x18" LCD screens off to one side (FYI, 18" LCDs have a comparable screen size to 20" tube monitors).
We are looking into putting the screens above the C24, on either side of the center speaker, but we need to overcome some ergodynamics questions first. (Where to mount our keyboard/trackball, will the screens be too high for extended editing, how awkward will it be having them seperated by a speaker, etc. ) |
