did not uninstall PT when up grading to MT lion ?

So I waited until now to get PTHD 11

#1 I have not yet downloaded the new iLok manager software.

#2 as of today I have PTHD 10.3.2 installed

#3 I have upgraded to OSX 10 .8 (not .1,.2,.3,.4 or now .5) but just 10.8 I did so (with out uninstalling PTHD 10.3.2 ) first,
unfortunately even after searching the AVID sight yesterday for aprox 4 hours I only this morning discovered the "Up grading to Mt Lion" page and saw the recommendation for uninstalling PT before upgrading to Mt lion.
SO Far It does seem to be running ok so maybe I dogged the bullet there.

So at this point I am waiting for Avid to email back my PT HD 11 activation code.


Question 1 . since I have not yet installed the new ilock software should I go ahead and do so now and check it on PT 10.3.2. before down loading and installing PT 11 or just do it after. Ok So I just did this and it seems fine

Question 2 I assume when ready to install PT 11 I should in fact uninstall PT 10.3.2 correct ?

I would install 10.3.7 first and make sure every thing is working the way you expect. Than install PT 11.0.2 for the co install.

So I now I am a bit stuck in that I was able to install MT Lion 10.8 the original version but now the only update version on the App store is 10.8.5 I hope this will not be an issue

Hey

Won't be a problem as 10.8.5 works great with PT11HD.

We went from 10.8.3 to 10.8.5 with no issues what so ever so install and have fun with 11HD which for the record is superb
