Another problem with Digi002 and PT 10...
Hey folks,
I’m new here, but have been using PT for years now. I just upgraded to 10, and like many users, I’m having issues interfacing it with my Digi002 mixer (the type w/ faders). SPECS (Custom built Mac): SYS. VERSION: 10.3.2 (with Complete Prod. Toolkit 1 installed) PROCESSOR: Intel i7 3.5 GHz Quad My OS and PT can both recognize that the hardware is connected by FireWire. But in the Audio MIDI and Sound settings in Mac OS, it says “0 in/0 out.” Sometimes restarting the Digi 002 and computer, I can get it to say “18in/18out,” but that’s rare. Things get worse in the PT program. Under SETUP>HARDWARE, it lists the Digi002 FireWire, but there are no options in the right pane except CLOCK SOURCE. I can also not right-click any options on the listing in the left pane, such as MAKE INPUT/OUTPUT DEVICE. All options are frosted out, and it always says “0 In/0 Out.” I have already twice installed the driver [ver. 9.0r3 listed here: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...2-003-Drivers]. Are there additional drivers I should be installing? Is anyone else having this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |
