Default Wav to mp3 ... multiple regions. How?

Any suggestions appreciated.

I have an Audio Book I recorded for a client PT 9.0.6.

About 1,600 MB covering three CD's. The client needs
Mp3's for the web sales. This requires a major edit into roughly 30 MB (final mp3 segments.)

Have done this many times but never had so many Wav to mp3 files to deal with.

Can anyone give suggestions on how I might be able to put these segments in regions and process the entire
Wav file into individual mp3's in PT 9?

Or is there another method? Many thanks for your suggestions.

Not clear to me what you are trying to do... If the book is one giant wav, then you'll need to edit it into smaller pieces, then convert those to MP3.

Just bounce them all as wav's and do one of two things:

1. drag all the bounced wavs back into a new session of the same bit depth and resolution as the bounces themselves, highlight all of the audio file, open the regions pain, right click, export regions as files, select MP3.

2. drag all the bounced wavs into a new itunes playlist, highlight all of them, right click, Create MP3 Version. You will have to setup your conversion preferences using the import settings in the preferences menu!

Yes, no getting around the individual edits, the question was about group processing of the edits rather than one at a time. Of course they will need to be cataloged and labeled individually. @v@ Thanks for your reply.
