Default how to assign an AES EBU stereo pair to 4 input chs for postconform?

I started learning postconform this weekend. How can I assign an AES EBU stereo pair to 4 input chs within postconform?

Let me explain in greater detail. I am feeding DAT AESEBU through a Spectral Digitranslator and then
on to an ADAT Bridge. The postconform input meters indicate the signal is only being fed to input channels 1 and 2.
Since my EDL contains edits to audio channels 3 and 4, postconform is leaving these segments silent. Is there
a way to assign the stereo AES/EBU signal to come up on all 8 of the postconform input channels??

I can do it if I feed the signal through my 02R, and assign to the desired busses, but this requires sending
the signal out of the DAT's analog inputs and into the board. Thanks for any clues on how I might internally
within the MIX plus hardware and the ADAT Bridge, assign the AESEBU stereo pair to all 8 input channels.

The way i have done this is to modify the channels in the EDL itself. There is a function in PC wwhich can do this for you...I can't remember right now exactly....but I'll post back on mon.

Thanks, Chinese, I solved this particular issue with postconform by configuring a workaround with my hardware, but I'm having other problems that I am bringing up in another post on this forum. My hardware is an ADAT bridge tied in to two, eight-channel pairs of an 02R through two spectral translators (which are simply digital format conversion boxes). So the way I've set it up is to tie in the AES EBU output of the DAT to the second translator, and it comes in on 02R faders 9 and 10. Then I send the signal out through all busses and it feeds in to the first translator and thus on to Protools on ADAT Bridge 1-8. Apparently postconform only wants to see digital audio coming in on chs 1-8 of the bridge; it cannot see audio coming in on chs 9-16 of the ADAT Bridge. I don't know why Postconform does not offer an I/O setup menu; Protools does. If Postconform provided an I/O setup menu, it would have made my life a little easier.

John,
Even though your edl may have events on chanells 2, 3 & 4 you can just highlight all the events in the edl go to the "Source Audio" menu and select "Set Record tracks" and check tracks 1 & 2. That way all your events will be recorded in via channel's 1 & 2. When you export to a protools session, it will still checkerboard the events as they were in the EDL. i.e. events on ch 1 in edl will be on tracks 1 & 2. Events on ch 2 in EDL will be on tracks 3 & 4 etc...
