Default new macbook and mbox 2 mini

I just did a quick DUC search and it appears that no version of Pro Tools is compatible yet with OS X Leopard. Also just chatted with an Apple rep and they said you can't buy an Intel Macbook w/o Leopard, i.e., they won't ship new Macbook's with OS X Tiger I was planning to buy a new Macbook and maybe a Mbox 2 Mini. Just thought I'd post here to make sure I am correct. I guess I could buy OS X Tiger off eBay, but that seems a little silly. Or I could try Logic Express... TIA.
