Default Re: MotorMix and my external Sequencer

This is sort of unrelated, but I plan on using an 001 with my MPC 2000 and I was wondering if there is any sort of advantage to doing all the sequencing inside Pro Tools or still within the MPC? or sending out the audio to PT so that you no longer need to use the MPC at all when it comes time to add audio tracks?

Usually I'll make one general sequence every time I create a new beat (hip-hop) and then copy and alter it multiple times for different variations & transitions. I'm just trying to avoid using "all sequence and song files" and doing all that work in the 001. (So all I really need to keep is the .PGM file).

I know this may seem somewhat trivial but any info from someone else w/ an 001 and a MPC would be very useful.

Thanks.

Default MotorMix and my external Sequencer

I want to buy the MotorMix by CMAutomation. I need to know if I will need to
purchase another midi interface to run it. Right now I have Protools
triggering my MPC 60 sequencer which controls my other Keyboard modules.
Where would I plug in the MotorMix in this case since the Digi 001 has only 2
inputs? Would I use a midi thru box or must I invest in a costly midi
interface? Please Help.
