anyone got 2 cents???
I'm in a spot to maybe switch from my dual 2.5 G5 to a dual 2.0 dual core.....not intel though......does anybody know if the 2.0 dual core would perform a good deal better as far as doing more complex mixes with lots of plug-ins compared to just a standard dual 2.5???
thanks.

Re: anyone got 2 cents???
I actually use three different Macs in my studio (Mac Pro Intel Quad, G5 Dual 2.5 and a G5 2.0). There is a marked difference in perfomance from the dual to the standard and from the intel to the dual. The dual will certainly be a good upgrade allowing you to do more complex mixes with more plugins.
Just my 2 cents...good luck.

Re: anyone got 2 cents???
Well, I do already have a dual 2.5...but I"m wondering if the dual 2.5 quad (pre-intel) would be a quite noticable difference in mix power....
thanks.
