File Management Question
A recording I'm working on has been recorded on several different drives. As a result, sessions that I am currently editing and mixing are referencing audio on both my internal hard drive and a FW800 external drive. I'm getting nervous about my backup strategy, and I'd like to somehow consolidate the audio files referenced by the sessions so that my working copy has all session files and audio files on the FW800 drive, and my backup copy has all session files and audio files on a separate external FW drive, allowing me to delete data from my internal drive.
Does PT have a function to do this? Or do I need to use the "Save Copy In" command on each session? |

Re: File Management Question
You mean you have more than one session that's using the same source files?
You can Save copy in:, and make sure you check the box to copy all audio files. Make sure you have all the files you need backed-up before deleting anything though just to be safe. |
