Default Avid IO and Symphony IO together ??

I'm running a nMP with PT 11 HDN Thunderbolt and Avid IO 16 x 16. I'm looking to add more IO and thinking of going with the Apogee Symphony. Anyone using both on the same system ??? If so any gotchas ?? Thx

Should work fine. Symphony IO has Avid-compatible loop sync as well.

I'm more worried about latency and obviously reliability compare to Avid's IO…anyone with such set up care to chime in ???

I have an older Apogee Rosetta800 w/XHD and as far as that goes, Apogee has very detailed information on how to deal with latency. They give you one hundredths of a millisecond precision of how to adjust the latency on any given sample rate. I wouldn't worry about it.

Round trip latency is the same, but input is slightly shorter and output slightly longer on the SIO.

Very interesting.
I was thinking of getting one of these too.
I'd like to hear more on this.

Apogee manual details it. No link, as I'm on mobile at the moment.
